At Eynsham Funeral Services we are aware that there is no such thing as a one for all service.
Funeral arrangements and requirements are individual to each family. With our extensive experience and knowledge, we will take the time to understand your needs and work with you to provide exactly the service you have requested, with our personal attention to detail.
We are extremely mindful of the fact that when families are grieving, sometimes the decisions made at the time may need changing. We will always try to accommodate your wishes however large or small if we possibly can.
To help you we have provided three examples below of Funeral Services and their costs.
The pricing will cover most of your needs and has been put together to give an estimate of costs.
There are many variables, such as coffin choices and specific service requirements which also have costs applicable.
Once we have met with our families and discussed their wishes and requirements, we will then provide a detailed estimate with accurate costs, prior to the service taking place.
Traditional Funeral
- Completion of all funeral arrangements and legal paperwork with our personal and professional supervision throughout. Including liaising with all third parties on your behalf, such as clergy, church offices, parish councils, celebrants, crematoria, town councils, cemeteries, florists, stonemasons, grave diggers, newspapers, caterers etc.
- Bringing your loved-one into our care, at our funeral home in Eynsham, in our secure, respectful and dignified facilities.
- Personal use of our Chapel of Rest.
- Preparation, washing and dressing of your loved-one in their own clothes or traditional gowns.
- An immaculately presented Jaguar Hearse to take your loved-one on their final journey.
- Funeral Director and All Attendant Bearers.
- Collection of your floral tributes, following the service.
- Collection of your loved-one’s ashes from the chosen Crematorium and keep them in our care until you are ready to collect them, or we can arrange conveyance to your home.
This cost will be £2,510.00 plus Disbursements, Additional Products or Services.
The above price excludes the cost of a chosen coffin, burial and crematorium fees.
ADDITONAL COSTS:
These include choice of coffin, Jaguar Limousine (which will return you to your home or take you on to a reception) other vehicle options, including horse drawn carriage, motorbike hearse etc. floral tributes, printing, publishing and catering.
DISBURSEMENTS:
External service providers, for example crematorium fees, celebrants, organists, florists, caterers, stone masons, grave diggers, council fees, parish councils etc.
Conditions of payments: We respectfully ask for a deposit of £1,500.00 to be made payable upon signing the terms and conditions and the estimate of costs have been provided.
Simple Funeral Options:
- Completion of all funeral arrangements as previously stated.
- Conveyance of your loved one into our care at our funeral home in Eynsham.
- Care and preparation of your loved one.
- To supply our light Oak Veneered Coffin.
- Provision to convey coffin to local cemetery for graveside service or placed early into crematorium chapel.
- Personal use of our Chapel of Rest, which can accommodate a small gathering or intimate service.
- Collection of your loved-one’s ashes from the chosen Crematorium and keep them in our care until you are ready to collect them, or we can arrange conveyance to your home.
This cost will be £2,595.00 plus Disbursements, Additional Products or Services.
The full payment will be required in advance of the service for this option.
Unattended and Direct Cremations:
- Direct Cremations will include conveyance of your loved one into our care, at our Eynsham funeral home. Your loved one will be close to home, in our secure, respectful and dignified facilities, until the cremation takes place.
- You will also be informed of when and where the cremation will take place at one of the Oxfordshire Crematoriums.
- All necessary documentation completed.
- Provision of a basic coffin.
- Chapel Visit (during weekday) on request, to have the opportunity to say your goodbyes.
- Conveyance of your loved one to Crematorium in our dedicated private vehicle.
- Collection of your loved-one’s ashes from the chosen Crematorium and keep them in our care until you are ready to collect them, or we can arrange conveyance to your home.
This cost will be £1,700.00 including third party fees for cremation.
This type of service cannot be attended.
The full payment will be required in advance of the service for this option.
