Terms and conditions
Professional Services
These include all arrangements in connection with the funeral, assistance and advice in matters relating to the funeral, attendance and services of staff, attending to all documentation, care of the deceased and use of the Chapel of Rest, Funeral Director and embalming of the deceased if required.
Fees and Payment Terms
You will receive a written estimate of the funeral costs, which must be signed and returned to confirm acceptance. Please note that this is an approximate cost only. While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, the final invoice may vary depending on the actual services provided and third-party charges incurred.
We respectfully ask for a deposit of £1,500 to be made payable upon signing these Terms and Conditions. The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days of the receipt of the invoice.
We reserve the right to add interest on all outstanding accounts at 2% per month on accounts that remain unpaid after 60 days, and any legal and court costs incurred due to non-payment.
Changes and Cancellations
You have the right to cancel the funeral arrangements; a cancellation charge may apply to cover services already provided or costs incurred by the Funeral Director. This right can be exercised by providing a written cancellation notice to the Funeral Director at any time within the period of 14 days starting on the day of the arrangement.
Eynsham Funeral Service shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to severe weather, third-party delays, or industrial action.
Disclosure of Interest
The sole ownership of Eynsham Funeral Services is David Alan Charles Bunting.Eynsham Funeral Services does not have any business or material financial interest in price comparison websites that compare Funeral Director Service and/or Crematorium Services and their respective prices.
Eynsham Funeral Services has not made any charitable donations to third parties connected to the funeral sector in the last 12 months.
There has been no charitable contribution or payment of gratuity to a third party.
There has been no material form of payment to a third party that does not relate to a cost incurred or a service provided by the third party on behalf of Eynsham Funeral Services.
